My Three Favorite Inventions
There are many creations that are important in are life. While many of these creations were created centuries ago, others are being made right now. Some of these creations help people, others entertain people. Despite their unique purpose, people have different inventions that are their favorite. The inventions that are the most interesting to me are the telephone, automobile, and the bicycle.
The telephone is a wonderful invention with a rich history. In 1843, Michael Faraday wanted to see if space could conduct electricity. In 1865, using Michael Faraday’s research, Dr. Maholn Loomis became the first to communicate with wireless atmosphere, which enabled him to make the 1st cell phone. Loomis created an idea of transmitting/ receiving messages with the atmosphere as a conductor. He was awarded with $50,000 because of his research. From 1843 until now phones have changed a lot more.
The automobile history is a great and important invention. It serves the most important transportation in the world. People in the U.S.A drive about three trillion miles a year! 80% of U.S. households have a car. 20% have two or more. About 80% use their car for vacation each year.
The bicycle is an important use of transportation of the world. Millions of people use the bicycle for transportation each day. In some countries the bicycle is the main made of transportation because it is a lot less money. Some people use bicycles their living. There are many different types of bicycles. Some names are mountain bike, road bike, hybrid (a mix of the first two), juvenile bikes and lots more.
The telephone, automobile, and the bicycle are in my opinion the three most important inventions. The telephone is important because it serves communication. I picked the car because it’s one of the quickest inventions. The bicycle serves a good use as transportation and for exercise. In fact, I am going to go now and ride my bike for my morning exercise!
